2023 G365 Championship Weekend Blog

The 10th Annual Grassroots 365 Championship Event culminated on Sunday, April 2nd, after 48 hours of non-stop competitive action on the court.  300+ teams, Middle School and High School Boys and Girls, competed for the coveted G365 Championship Trophy. 

Boys Gold Division:

  • 8u: PHX Nomads (Arizona) defeated Team Arsenal (NorCal) 46-37 for the Championship.  The Phoenix Nomads will end the Spring season as the #1 G365 ranked team.  Amari Harris earned MVP honors.
  • 9u: #1 Inglewood Guard Dawgs (SoCal) defeated SE Supreme (Arizona) 48-42 to defend and once again finish the Spring season as the #1 G365 ranked team.  Bryce Washington earned MVP honors.
  • 10u: #2 Inglewood Guard Dawgs (SoCal) defeated #1 Team Arsenal (NorCal) 45-29 in what was an old school Championship game battle between Los Angeles and Oakland.  Andre AJ Woodert earned MVP honors.
  • 11u: #2 Lakeshow Elite (NorCal) defeated #7 AVAC Komplex Sports in an OT Championship game thriller 49-46.  Lakeshow Elite will finish the Spring season as the #1 G365 ranked team.  AVAC Komplex Sports will finish at #2 after knocking Kendrick Perkins led JL3 (Texas) in the Semis.  Jaylen Hampton earned MVP honors.
  • 12u: SE Supreme (Arizona) defeated #11 IE Sixers 64-42 in the Championship game.  SE Supreme will receive consideration as the top ranked G365 12u team to be determined later this week.  Walter Hennix scored 39 pts and 10 rebounds in the Championship game to earn MVP honors.
  • 13u: Port City (NorCal) defeated Bakersfield 36-32.  Port City will finish the Spring season as the #1 G365 ranked team.  Tre Simmons earned MVP honors.
  • 14u: San Diego Prospects defeated OGP Anaheim Black 56-45 in the Championship game.  Tekeio Phillips earned MVP honors.
